Step 1: Pick Your Brand
The mascara section in any drugstore displays a dizzying array of varieties - from lengthening or thickening to curling or waterproof formulas. The point of mascara is to add definition so pick black.
Step 2: Curl Your Lashes
Apply any eye shadow or eye liner first.
Place the curler as close to the lashline as you can get... without pinching your eyelid. Walk the curler down your lashes as you pump... so you don't get a harsh bend.

Use your fingernails to remove any bags of mascara that have collected onto the tips of your lashes.
Use a cotton swab with a drop of makeup remover to clean up any smudges.
