Apply false lashes like a pro
Any woman who has experimented with false eye lashes has no doubt run into trouble applying them at some point. In fact, most women never really master the technique, due in part to false lashes being packaged with little, if any, instruction.

But the length, fullness, and plain and simple blackness of a great set of falsies is unparalleled by any natural lash, no matter how much $30 a tube fancy mascara you layer over them .
So when you decide to try a pair of false lashes, take eye shape, styling of eye shadow (ie. smoky or natural), length and fullness of false lash into consideration. Then follow these steps for a perfectly applied false lash:
1. Make sure your eye makeup is complete (this should include eye shadow, eye liner, and mascara).
2. Apply a thin line (about the width of a needle) of adhesive to back (as opposed to top) of lash band.
3. Hold lash firmly in hand and wave back and forth (like windshield wiper) for 30 seconds. This will allow adhesive to become tacky.
4. In front of a mirror, tilting your head back slightly, stack the false lash on top of your natural lash as close to the eyelid as possible.
5. Now that the false lash is stacked on top of your natural lash, place finger at tip of false lash hair and gently push towards the eyelid to press false lash band closely to eyelid skin.

When applying false lashes, the old adage is true: Practice makes perfect. The more you apply them, the better you’ll get. And be warned, falsies are addicting, so the less adhesive the better—your lashes will stay cleaner and you'll be able to get 3-4 uses out of a single pair.
