Spring 2010 Makeup Trend: How To Wear Heavy Eyeliner
2010 Makeup Trend: How To Wear Heavy Eyeliner.

Steps for any look
1. Begin with a clean face.
2. Conceal under eye circles. Apply concealer to the upper lids if you have discoloration or want your makeup to last longer.
3. Apply foundation.
4. If you’re going to wear shadow, apply it before you apply your eyeliner.
5. If you’re going for a neutral look, you might apply a cream or nude shadow to the lids to make your look more polished and complete. Make sure the shadow is blended well so it doesn’t leave a shadow line.
6. Follow your liner with heavy mascara.
7. Keep your cheeks and lips neutral. Peach blush or bronzer is a good option. For lips, go with a neutral shade of lipgloss.
The Winged Look
To achieve the winged look, begin at the inner corner of the upper lid. Apply a line of eyeliner that gets thicker as you approach the outer corner. Swoop the line slightly up past the outer corner of the eye. Beginning at the center of the eye, apply eyeliner to the lower lid until it meets the eyeliner on the upper lid.
All Around the Eye
To apply eyeliner all around the eye, begin at the inner corner of the upper lid. Line to the outer corner, taking the line just slightly past the corner of the eye. Do the same with the bottom lid, meeting both lines in the corners. You might try lining the inner lid as well to prevent a ‘line’ look.
Only The Top Lash
Many of the looks this Spring focus only on the top lash. Make sure the under eye area is well concealed and powdered to maintain a clean, clear line. Beginning at the inner edge of the eye, line the top lid with a line that gets progressively thicker as you approach the outer corner of the lid. Take the line slightly past the corner and slightly up.
