How to Choose The Right Eyeshadow Shade for Grey Eyes
People often recommend shades for blue, green and brown eyes but what about grey eyes?

Firstly, Grey Eyes suit similiar shades to blue eyes these generally include black, purples, reds, oranges, yellows, golds, browns, pinks and if used correctly, greens. However grey eyes unlike blue eyes can also suit blue itself as a colour. Consult the colour whell, the best shades are usually on the opposite side of the wheel.
It's a good idea to begin by considering the exact shade of your grey eyes. Are they light grey or a dark grey? Once you know this you can make almost any colour work for you. A quick and easy way to make grey eyes stand out choose a tone that is the opposite from your eyecolor eg. if you have dark grey eyes use a light coloured eyeshadow. But if you have small eyes stay clear of dark eye shadows.
If monotone color doesn't suit your grey eyes. Try shading/contouring, for this you'll need at least 2 different tones of the same colour for example a light brown and a dark brown. The light colour can be applied over the lid whilst the darker colour goes over the crease and outer edges.
