Picking Eye Shadow for Brown Eyes Black Hair

There is no one right color eye shadow for brown eyes black hair. Depending on your skin tone, you can wear nearly any color.

Picking Eye Shadow for Brown Eyes Black Hair 1
Picking Eye Shadow for Brown Eyes Black Hair:Women with brown eyes and black hair are extremely fortunate when it comes to eye shadow colors. While there are definitely some colors to stay away from, there are a variety of different looks you can create using a rainbow of colors. The woman with brown eyes and black hair can use browns, blues, greens, purples, rosy pinks and some shades of orange to create the perfect look from conservative daytime to smokin’ hot evening. You can even use shades of gray and black, although these darker colors are best used as accents.
Browns:Women with brown eyes and black hair can create a conservative, daytime look using browns. Avoid flat browns. They will make your eyes look smaller and sunken. Instead, use a brown with some shimmer and highlight with a lighter color such as cream or light gold.
   1. Enchanted Forest by Maybelline. This shade is part of a quad that includes cream and tan, both great companion colors. It’s a lighter brown that provides just enough color to brighten the eye for daytime.
   2. Tempting is a wonderfully, luscious cocoa color by MAC. This shadow provides just the right amount of shimmer. It’s the perfect shade of brown to make the eyes pop, but not too much.
Blues:Pulling off blue eye shadow can be difficult, but it’s worth it. The right shade of blue can put a sparkle in your brown eyes. Pay close attention to your skin tone on this one. Some shades just don’t work with certain skin tones.
   1. The Sapphire Ice quad from Maybelline offers a shade of blue for every skin tone.
Combine them all to create a more dramatic look.
Purples:With a myriad of shades to choose from, purple is the perfect color eye shadow for brown eyes black hair. Darker purples can create a great evening look.
   1. Forever Fig is a purple shade with pink undertones from Covergirl. It looks great on women with darker skin tones.
   2. The Spring Violet Duo by L’Oreal Paris is a great dark purple to use for an evening on the town. You can use the lighter shade as an accent color.

Pinks:Rosy pink eye shadow will give you a fresh, feminine look. This is another color where you have to consider your skin color. Go too light and you’ll look washed out, especially if you have a darker skin tone, but choose the right shade and you’ll be pretty in pink.
   1. Laura Mercier’s Burgundy Eye Color Duo includes the perfect combination of light and dark to compliment your brown eyes.
