For those lucky enough to have beautiful green eyes, finding the right shades and tones to complement them is simple once you know what to look for. Follow these steps.

Pick an eye shadow that complements the green tones of your eyes. Brown, gold, plum and green hues will contrast perfectly to highlight the green in your eyes. Green shades will make your eye color pop while plum and purple hues will deliver a dramatic effect.
Choose a natural, brown liner to accentuate your eyes. Traditional, black liners will take away from the color of your eyes. For a more dramatic, evening look, try liners in plum or green shades instead of black.
Use a dark brown mascara to brighten and open your eyes. Mascara works to lift and extend lashes and really helps them shine. The natural brown c…
Eye makeup for green eyes encompasses a wide range of color options. The key is to choose eye makeup colors that don't compete with your eye's natural shade of green.

Any eyeshadow shades that are mostly yellow will also drown out green eyes. The yellow swallows the startling green and makes the white of your eyes look dull. Jade, amber and even neon orange may work for you, but canary, lemon or mustard are out of the question.
It’s important to never let your eyeshadow compete with your eyes for attention. Let your eye color remain sparkling by using any eyeshadow color except one that matches your eyes. Go with a creamier green, a darker green or a smokier green, but never match your eye color and eye shadow exactly.

Beauty Tips For Green Eyes.

One of the first things to consider about your eye color is the darkness of it. There are various shades of green that you may have. The darker your eye color is, the most subtle your make up can be. If you like a dark, stunning eye make up, select darker color combinations. If you like your make up to be barely noticeable, then go for lighter shades.
What Color Eyeshadow To Use For Green Eyes?
Consider starting with a peach color for your eyeshadow. Peach can be darker or lighter, depending on your specific needs. Place it on the eye lid to start. Next, add a light brown over the top of the peach. Be very light with this color as it is just to enhance the peach and define the eye. You can also change this up with a little hit of rose col…
Green eyes are really fun to work with.

How you apply your eyeshadow depends how many colors you're wearing and what the occasion is.
For basic every day wear, here's what you do.

2. Use a taupe or apricot next and apply it to the whole eyelid and blend it just above the crease with the crystalline.
3. Then use your third color (chocolate brown, dark green, copper, etc.) and apply it one of two ways:
a. Apply it from the middle of your eyelid from the eyelash to just above the crease. Blend it well. You can even blend it under the lower lashes for a more dramatic look.
b. Apply it from the inner corner of your eyelid and sweep it out to the outer cor…

Nothing simplifies any makeup application like a light-up magnifying mirror. It helps to have a clear and well-lit view of your “workspace.” Place the mirror on a table or vanity counter, anywhere that you can sit down and rest your elbow to keep it steady.

Keep your eye partially open so that you can more easily follow the contour. To get your line as close to the lash line as possible, lift your eyelid from under the arch of your eyebrow instead of tugging the skin off to the side, as is common practice. When you’re just starting out, you needn’t worry about getting the line straight in one fell swoop. Draw three fine dashes, one on this inside, middle, and outside corner, and connect them.

If you make a boo-boo with liquid eyeliner, you generally have to call for heavy-duty help! If a liquid eyeliner emergency does strike, administer First Aid as follows:

1) Wet one end of a fine Q-Tip with an oil-based eye makeup remover and gently wipe the mistake away.
2) Use the dry end of the Q-Tip to remove any traces of oil from the skin. If any residue remains you won’t be able to reapply the eyeliner properly, so be thorough!
3) If the mistake was a monster, don’t forget to reapply the base products you have erased (i.e. concealer, powder, eyeshadow) before you reattempt the eyeliner. If you don’t, the end color may appear patchy.!

1) Take a small amount of liquid eyeliner on an eyeliner brush and wipe the tip on the back of your hand to remove any excess.

Makeup artist tip: Just learning? To get familiar with your brush, paint a few lines of varying thickness on the back of your hand.
2) In front of a mirror, tilt your head backwards and gently pull the eyelid taut with the fingertips of your free hand. Tightening the skin will help eliminate creases and gaps.
3) Following your pencil or powder guide line, start in the middle of the eye and work outward along the top lash line using a series of short, overlapping strokes. Lastly, line the inner upper corner of the eye with any product remaining on the brush.
Makeup artist tip: For a precise and controlled application, use an eyeliner bru…
